How Much is TOO Much?

What else can I ask him to do?
He's 13.

I mean, c'mon. I can ask for a more rigorous proof, but the kid can manipulate these expressions and then say things like, "I think this looks really cool with all x's and y's all over the place. "

Never too much!

I get chills talking about this. This kid has an appreciation for math that I did't develop until I was 21 years old.

That is pretty awesome. Hand him Cryptonomicon and step back.

I would encourage the kid to start writing programs in the graphing calculator or make review games and present them to the class to use. Or even to create a real world problem that he would need to use this in. There's never too much when the kid can prove something like that so young as long as they can apply it as well.
